Job Description

We are looking for an impact-driven and people-focused Human Resource Associate. Do you have knowledge or experience supporting a dynamic team in payroll activities and executive assistance? Do you possess an affinity for numbers, strong attention to detail, and a good understanding of the concept of confidentiality?

You will provide a range of human resource support to the People Partnership Team (PPT) of Smarter Good, a growing, global professional services firm for the social sector. You will help ensure that PPT is organized and operates smoothly and that Smarter Gooders feel supported and satisfied as they steer important social missions across the globe. 

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Organize the schedule of the CEO to manage meetings across multiple time zones
  • Schedule appointments for the COO and Directors and maintain and reconcile calendars
  • Arrange travel logistics, including flights and accommodations
  • Assist in filing important business and client-related forms
  • Assist in payroll and related tasks, including support in maintaining finance trackers and collecting, calculating, and entering relevant data
  • Assist in monitoring, filing, and updating employee records and HR database, including 201 files, attendance, benefits utilization, employee movements, and training utilization, etc.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Assist in monitoring subscriptions and ensuring timely payment and renewals
  • Perform other administrative tasks, including database entries, research, report creation or generation, and document management 
  • Provide support in other facets of PPT’s scope of work or the Client Partnership Team (CPT) operations as needed
  • Help address internal and external-related inquiries and requests in consultation with the PPT
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company-wide events, activities, and initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in human resources or related field
  • 1-2 years experience as an HR assistant or payroll assistant, or any relevant HR/admin position
  • Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices; experience in payroll administration and executive assistance is desirable
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles and strong math, numerical, and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant Philippine labor laws, policies, and regulations is good to have
  • Experience and/or genuine interest in international development, social entrepreneurship, and the nonprofit sector is preferred
  • Strong command of the English language, written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and high ethical standards and level of confidentiality 
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent organizational ability, time management skills, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Fresh graduates are open to apply
